December 2020 included Josie turning 8 months old and her first Christmas Life keeps moving right along...the last few months have been hard (and have felt long at times) and everyone in the family has moments of fatigue and some sadness in wondering when this pandemic will be over and life will be normal again. The cold, rainy weather hasn't helped with that either but we started a 1,000 hours (in a year) outdoor challenge at the end of October which has pushed outside more than we ever would have in these colder months and we've had a lot of fun in the backyard, at local trails, and nearby National Parks (working on our NP passport and Junior Ranger badges). We are trying to make the most of this season. In December and January we were also able to see a lot of our family spread out (and many outdoor gatherings) to celebrate Christmas with them even if it was a little different this year. Josie had her first trip to AL and first visit to the Birmingham zoo. We are still counting our blessings and thankful for God's faithfulness and protection of our family but we are praying that this time next year will look a lot different!
