February Highlights/ Disney 2
February Highlights/ James turns 7 and Disney/Legoland
February Highlights:
James turned 7 on February 5, and this year instead of a party he requested a "Day of James" with a special activity, subway for lunch, and Japanese Hibachi for Dinner! We surprised him big by coinciding a little family vacation time with the week of his birthday. We spent a few days visiting our favorite mouse in Disney (probably the last time for a few years and taking advantage of those under three discounts!), and for his birthday "party" we got homeschool tickets to a day at Legoland (something he had wanted to do for several years!). The whole vacation we kept a secret and packed the suitcases and car in secret. We said we were going to eat out for dinner and after hours of driving James assumed "we are running some very long errands! I'm ready to go home!" After multiple stops and Joah gagging himself in the van and throwing up, we finally told them at a fuel stop what was up and they were so surprised! It was a fun time away with no schedule or obligations, and I tried very hard to be very unplugged from my phone, social media, etc. and just savor the moment! Here are some of our highlights!
