In 2019 we scheduled a Disney vacation after getting a free dining offer (which is huge savings for this growing family!) not knowing at the time that the world would turn upside down! Every few months we would move the trip back waiting for "normal" to return. A year later (and Josie about to turn one), we started to take about how we didn't know when life will be normal again and decided after getting vaccinated (and Disney sending me a pin code to incentivize us) that we would go ahead and do a shortened version of our original trip (4 days). It was so fun and the most normal thing we've done in an entire year! It was Josie's first vacation, time staying in a hotel, swim in a real pool, first theme park, and even first time eating inside a restaurant. Disney did an amazing job with their safety protocols, and I felt safer there than most places we've gone this last year. I'm so glad we went ahead and enjoyed these moments together!
