Disney - Day 2 at Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom was the second of two unseasonably cold days in Florida to start out our trip. We started out the day early with a character breakfast buffet at Tusker House. We still had the counter service meal plan this trip as well, but we really wanted to do this extra (which was not something that we got to do last trip) and I'm so glad that we did. Our kids can be picky eaters but breakfast was a hit (Mickey Waffles and fruit and more!) and they loved that the characters came to the table to see them! We will definitely do this again in the future. James' highlight of Animal Kingdom was probably getting to ride Everest. He was tall enough for a lot of rides that he wasn't able to ride last time. Jude loved the Nemo Musical (we all did!). Other highlights: Wilderness Explorers (a scavenger hunt through the park),  Triceratops Spin and The Boneyard (dinosaur dig and giant play area), Tusker House Character Greeting, Everest ride but NOT Dinosaur (see the very first picture below of James and I covering our faces!), and Kilimanjaro Safaris
