Disney Jr. Live: Pirates and Princesses and 34.5 weeks

We enjoyed taking the boys to Disney Jr. Live at the BJCC last weekend. It was a nice little family day (followed by trying out our new Chickfila for the first time) right before Daddy was gone on a youth retreat to Chattanooga for most of the week. Our whole family was originally supposed to go but the doctor didn't think it would be the best idea after the last few weeks. It's just not the same without him home, and we are all so happy to have Stephen back...

 The tickets were the event that we purchased as part of Jude's Christmas (James' event was Monster Jam back in January). They loved the pirate portion (Tick Tock Croc chasing Hook, volcano erupting gold doubloons, the singing, and Mickey and Minnie as the hosts) but were extremely antsy during the princess portion. I think they still really enjoyed it though, and James cried when it was over. 

Next year, though, we will probably just do monster jam only for these monster truck obsessed boys!

I was 34 weeks on Sunday and will be 35 weeks on Easter (in just a few days). I'm still having lots of contractions (and some days are better than others) so I'm thankful for every new Sunday and another week of growing this sweet baby boy. I went to the doctor today, and it was a pretty quick visit (weight, blood pressure, heart rate check, a quick talk with the doctor, etc.) but everything seems to be going well. I'm measuring a little behind average (33 weeks) but I know these Johnson boys always have a way of hiding in there and are always larger than the doctor predicts! I'm still just supposed to follow the same "take it easy" advice until about 37 weeks which is considered full-term. Pray for lung development for Joah as it's one of the major struggles for little boys that come early.  I predict an April baby, but if he is anything like his brothers then we will meet him in early May. Either way, we are at about 4-5 weeks left tops! Time to start washing newborn clothes and thinking about a hospital bag!
