Megan's Wedding Weekend

My little sister in the new Mrs. Thomas Synovec! It was a beautiful wedding! She is so happy and I'm so elated for her. I was honored that we were able to be a part of her special day as ring bearers and matron of honor. I couldn't have asked for a better match for her. The wedding was in Mount Pleasant, SC so after the festivities on Friday and Saturday we got to also see the beach, catch up with my college best friend, and tour the USS Yorktown (on Sunday and Monday) before heading back home. We also got to visit and catch up with lots of family all at one time which was great! Here are the pictures I captured on the cell phone but can't wait to see the ones her photographer got!

Fall Fun #1

We've had an eventful fall so far: we're ten weeks into school (before taking a fall break with pell city schools schedule), back to church activities for the youth and for our kids (Awana, choir - I'm helping teach Jude's preschool choir), field trips (both official and unofficial (some just with our family on Mondays)), etc. The boys are changing, growing, being funny! There is never ever a dull moment around here. Here are some fall highlights in pictures:

He fell asleep in his high chair one day because it was after he started crawling out of the crib and while I was cleaning up from the stomach bug for Jude. Little did I know how bad it would get and that our pediatrician would send us to the ER... (posts below)

 The boys put on old halloween costumes and had a lot of fun dressing up!

 Pell City's homecoming parade! The boys have loved it for the second year now and we get to see tons of our students!
